I had someone tell me, “Yo Lance, my wife doesn’t support my dream. She’s scared I’m going too far.” I told him, “Bro, you have to be okay with that.” Not everybody is built to see the vision before it manifests. Some people can’t wrap their heads around something they’ve never touched.

The truth is, when you start walking in your purpose, you might make other people uncomfortable. Your ambition forces them to question their own comfort zone. And instead of cheering you on, they might try to pull you back down to where they feel safe. You’re going to have to learn to isolate yourself in order to protect your dream!

Don’t let that stop you.

You’re not here to fit into their little box. You’re here to be extra—because guess what? The word “extraordinary” starts with extra. So if they call you too much? Good. That means you’re on the right path.

If You Don’t Have a Target, You’ll Never Hit Anything

Most people say they wanna be “rich” or “successful,” but ask them how much money they want to make? What does their dream life actually look like? And they have no clue.

“Just more.”

That’s not a plan—that’s a wish.

You can’t hit a target you haven’t set. Everything you see around you existed in someone’s mind before it was created. That phone in your hand, the chair you’re sitting on—it all started as a clear vision. So what does your dream look like? Get specific. Colors, locations, numbers.

And here’s where the energy part comes in. Imagine I told you that in ten days, you were guaranteed $10 million—tax-free, straight to your account. How would you walk around? Would you be sluggish and defeated, or would you be excited, confident, ready to move?

I’ve soken to a lot of people ho were inspired by my relentless attitude, and one thing I’ve learned is that success comes down to the questions you ask yourself.

What’s missing?

What would have to be true for me to win at this?

If someone bought a big business today, what’s the first thing they’d fix? Why haven’t I done it yet?

The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life. Stop waiting for a handout, and start questioning yourself into action.

Stop Overthinking and Start Doing

I get messages all the time:

"Lance, how do I start a business?"

Sell something to a stranger. That’s it.

“But what should I sell?”

Anything. The product is secondary—the action is what matters. Rich people don’t sit around overthinking. They make decisions, take action, and adjust along the way.

Meanwhile, folks are waiting for the perfect moment. Newsflash: it doesn’t exist.

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so take a damn shot. Even if you miss, you’re in the game, which is more than most people can say.

Measure What Matters

If you don’t track it, you won’t improve it. Period.

One of my friends was struggling with his weight. I asked him, “When’s the last time you stepped on a scale?” He hesitated. That told me everything.

Once he started tracking his weight every day, things changed. And that applies to everything—money, fitness, business.

You want to get rich? Track your income daily. Want to lose weight? Track your food and workouts.

You can’t improve what you refuse to measure.

Focus, Then Diversify
