Angie Stone truly left a lasting impact on the music world with her soulful voice and powerful presence. I remember when she was a part of Sequence, which laid the foundation for her incredible solo career. Her solo album Black Diamond was such a defining moment in R&B, with tracks that resonated deeply with listeners. Her unique blend of soul, jazz, and hip-hop influenced so many artists and continues to be appreciated. Angie Stone’s music always had a way of speaking to the heart, and her legacy will certainly live on. She will be greatly missed, but her music will keep her spirit alive for years to come.

I remember when I first saw the music video to "Brotha", I was over joyed to hear and see such positivity being stated about our men out loud and proud! That song solidified my stance in my walk to always be my brotha's keeper.

Even to the ones that turned out to be hellish, I send love in the form of redemption of their souls and the renewing of their minds and as the creator sees fit. Who knows, if a righteous female had stated to them at a younger age "I Love You" maybe, just maybe, they might not have ended up as they have🙏🏾💯
