Africa is rich in oil, gas, rare minerals, and land. Many powerful countries—like China, Russia, the U.S., and now even Iran—are involved in African politics and business. War between the U.S., Israel, and Iran may push these global powers to fight harder over influence in Africa.

• More military bases could be built across African nations.

• More foreign interference in African governments may increase.
